About the Program
Now Booking 2026 Partner Centers
Now entering its second year, Patch to Plate is a field-tested, fully managed garden education program designed specifically for early childhood environments.
We partner with a limited number of centers each season to deliver structured, hands-on learning experiences that connect children to food, nature, and real-life skills.
What We Do
We bring garden-to-table learning directly to your center—no planning or prep required from your staff.
Through hands-on planting, harvesting, and food-based activities, children gain a deeper understanding of where food comes from while building confidence, curiosity, and life skills.
Through our connection to Tracy’s Paradise Farm, children are introduced to real growing practices in a way that feels tangible and engaging.
Why It Matters
Most children are disconnected from how food is grown.
Patch to Plate creates meaningful, hands-on experiences that help children:
Understand how food grows
Engage with nature through touch and play
Build early healthy habits
Develop confidence through doing
A Proven, Refined Program
Patch to Plate successfully completed its pilot year and has been refined through real-world implementation.
The program is designed to ensure:
Smooth group rotations
Age-appropriate engagement
Consistent, high-quality delivery across different center sizes
For 2026, we are expanding to partner with new centers.
How It Works
Designed for ages 3–10
Small group rotations (20–25 children at a time)
